Say "jello" to gelatin!

Thank you to you all for making this first season of Mom’s Wooden Spoon exceed our expectations!  It has been so much fun for Kristen and I to hear from some of you, run into some of you and know that all our weirdness is being accepted in the way it is intended, to make you smile and maybe even laugh a little too.

We are hoping to take the next few months to find some more tantalizing old school recipes that will confuse, delight and horrify us (sometimes all at the same time) for another season.

Instead of blathering on and on, I thought I would make today’s blog short and sweet and an ode to recipes before, particularly those featuring gelatin.  May they confuse, delight and horrify YOU (sometimes all at the same time)!
